Private Ukrainian companies gained access to the space market

The Parliament of Ukraine adopted a draft law 1071 on promoting the development of space activities and attracting investment in the space industry, which was developed by BRDO experts. It provides for the ‘opening’ of space for private companies. From now on, they will be able to develop, design, produce, test and operate space facilities.

The law also provides access to the space market for the private sector on a declarative basis, free negotiation with foreign counterparties, liberalization of contracting and mandatory certification of only those space facilities that are produced in Ukraine and are intended for operation in its territory.
