EU4Business: SME Policies and Institutions Support (SMEPIS)

The project is aimed at supporting Ukrainian institutions responsible for the design and implementation of small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) development policy, as well as at providing technical assistance to achieve tangible improvements in the business climate, regulatory environment, and business support services at the national level.
The initiative strengthens sustainable SME support policies, including the creation of incentives for digitalisation, innovation, and the green transition. It also develops the business support ecosystem with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises — particularly those with innovative growth potential, the ability to create added value, diversify products and services, and generate new jobs.
Special attention is paid to strengthening the integration of Ukraine’s business ecosystem with that of the European Union.
