The Head of the BRDO’s Agriculture Sector Andriy Zablotskyi was appointed to the post of the Head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine by the Order No.1348-r of the Cabinet of Ministers.
A number of comprehensive studies of agricultural markets were conducted under Andriy’s leadership as well as more than 20 legislative initiatives aimed at improving their regulation were drafted and implemented during his work at the BRDO Office.
In particular, the foundations have been laid for systematic changes in the forest industry: electronic accounting of timber and introduction of transparent rules for its sale, combating illegal felling, translating permits into electronic format and creating interactive maps to display forestry activities of enterprises.
We hope that these and other important initiatives needed to upgrade the industry will be implemented!
