BRDO will initiate the abolition of 353 regulatory acts that create barriers for business

BRDO experts have analyzed 1211 subordinate acts on fire safety, labor protection and ensuring sanitary and epidemiological welfare and selected 363 acts. They make the life of business owners more difficult and require covering excessive demands along with additional costs.

In addition, funds from the budget are used to maintain a bloated system of state supervision (control) – an army of inspectors, a large number of laboratories and so on.

In total, BRDO experts recommend to abolish:

• 195 acts on labor protection (25% of all acts contained in the State Register of regulations on labor protection);

• 71 acts on fire safety (32% of all acts in the State Register of regulations on fire safety). another 78 acts (36% require to be amended (revised);

• 97 acts on ensuring sanitary and epidemiological welfare (about 47% of all acts in this area, which have been comprehensively revised).

This innovation will:

• reduce the regulatory burden on business and improve business conditions;
• provide the deregulation and development opportunities for entrepreneurship;
• reduce regulatory barriers to start and develop the business.

The results will be submitted to the Ministry of Economic Development. It is expected that the Cabinet of Ministers will consider BRDO’s proposals at the next deregulation day.
